Everyone experiences acupuncture differently. Feelings may include heaviness, pressure, a dull ache or an energized feeling at and around the insertion point.

Acupuncture works by utilizing a network of connections, called meridians, which exist between your internal organs, blood, body fluids, muscles and skin. Needling these specific acupoints along this map restores the proper balance and flow of Qi, while improving the overall function of your body and enhancing its recuperative power and immunity.

The number of treatments required depends on the condition and how long the condition has been present. It is reasonable to consider that the longer the illness has been present, the longer it will take to see treatment results.
